And some of their suggestions for flying friends ready to start crossing the plane.

What is FPV drones？

    First of all, a brief introduction, FPV represents the first person perspective. FPV the drone flies, you don't have to watch the drone fly, but watch the camera image fly through the flight glasses. In this way, you feel like you are flying in the air.

    FPV drones have become particularly popular in recent years because of racing. And more and more video producers have also found FPV powerful shooting features, because this way of flying can produce very "exciting" video, more dynamic than the well-known "ordinary" UAV shooting.

 Compared with "ordinary" drones, where are FPV drones different?

    Tiger :" if you compare drones with driving cars, then'ordinary' drones are like Tesla with autopilot, FPV drones are like cars in Speed and Passion. Crossing the plane brings more freedom, challenge, and excitement than flying with a "common drone ."

 motor :" fly FPV drone, you feel like a bird, can fly anywhere. You can completely control it and do anything crazy. You can go where ordinary drones can't reach.

 What do you feel about DJI upcoming FPV drone?

     Tiger :" according to the leaked photos and videos, I think it is not the same as the FPV drone I used. seems to be prepared for "ordinary" drone pilots without FPV flight experience. From the performance parameters of sensors, cloud cameras and drones, DJI is still aerial photography, and our traversing machine is used for racing. DJI traversing machine is a good tool for photographers who need to shoot FPV style. However, the drone is not suitable for racing (the fastest speed is only 140 km, is too slow).

    motor :" this is an out-of-the-box solution that allows you to take FPV shots directly. instead of being used after complex assembly and debugging. DJI opened up an interesting market, many people want to try. Yet DJI drones don't give you the freedom of a "real" racing drone, more like aerial FPV drones. If it's for the game, it's definitely the last ."　　

Do you think this will make FPV mainstream?

 Tiger :" I don't think DJI FPV drones can do it yet. its role is only to fill the gap between "ordinary" drones and FPV drones. At present, there is still a big gap from the mainstream, because the current FPV UAV is not completely "plug and play ", learning time is very long, which makes many people simply can not start.

 Motor :" it depends on whether FPV flight is really mainstream, not a new UAV. FPV drones it takes a long time to learn, can only get muscle memory through constant practice, must fly hundreds of hours to learn correctly.

 What's your favorite product? Why?

 Tiger :" there's not much fun FPV this drone as a professional pilot. it still looks like DJI drone, not FPV racing drone. I'm obviously not the target of this drone either.

 Motor :" if the drone does provide somatosensory remote control and autopilot, I think a lot of people will like it. Because people who have not yet mastered the flight can rely on sensors to experience the first angle of view. One major drawback: all I see is plastic. Because even a good cross-machine flying hand, especially in a very narrow place shooting, there is always a time to overturn. Carbon fiber structure is the best choice for traversing machines.

 How does the novice get started FPV fly?

 Tiger: the best way to prepare is to buy a remote (TBS Tango2) and practice on simulators such as Lift off (steam purchase or download at the end of the article) first. After you practice the simulator, you start driving the real FPV drone, and you can master the basic operation. Can save a lot of time and money !"

 motor (Sander):" learn to fly on the simulator first. will save a lot of cost. for FPV flights, e.g. there are DRL simulators (steam purchased or downloaded at the end of the article). But the simulator has one drawback :" You will feel sticky, which is different from real flight ."

 Do you want to give advice to people who plan to buy DJI FPV drones?

 Tiger: have fun. I don't say much about it. It is indeed a "slightly faster DJI UAV ". and we can also call it an entry-level FPV drone.

 Motor :" my suggestion is to first understand the exact function of the drone. If you have never flown a FPV drone before, it is unwise to buy and fly it immediately. First of all, practice to prevent the explosion. Also consider security: in full manual mode, you have no protection. If you let go of the rocker, it won't hover like DJI regular drone. If someone or car nearby, it may cause damage or even injury. So the first flight through the plane, make sure to take off in the open area.
