 I am a loyal fan of Dajiang, from aerial droneElf 2 to Wu 2, have used all aerial models, bought many drones, including team members and their own operations, only their own control, Flight time more than 500 hours, flight mileage more than 3000 kilometers, my team members and I bomb countless, can be called the captain. Has not participated in the professional system training before, while learning while practicing, accumulated some fried machine experience, are with money, time, energy in exchange for lessons. Most of the flying friends share successful experiences, and few share the experience of the bomb, because the bomb is a very disgraceful thing.

There is a good saying, at first I do not know the meaning of the painting, and then see is already in the painting.

 The purpose of sharing here is to alert yourself and team members not to repeat the same mistakes, and of course hope to use these negative experiences to help novice flying friends without making the same mistakes.

 I divided the causes into two categories:

 One is the mechanical fault explosion machine, refers to the Dajiang company mechanical failure caused by the explosion machine.

 (1) In 2016, our newly bought Wu 2 took off in a safe, open area in the wild, about 5 meters into the sky, inexplicably free fall to the ground, almost hurt people, can only repair.

 (2) In 2018, Elf 4 P accidentally fell free and could only be repaired on the premise of abundant power on its way back at a height of 120 metres.

 On February 9,2021, Yu 2 pro failed in the course of safe flight and could not calibrate the cloud head after landing. The calibration icon of the cloud head could not be found at all on the GO4.

 The other is the blow-up caused by human manipulation errors.

(1) In 2015, Elf 3 took off on the bridge deck of a reinforced concrete bridge and immediately fell less than five metres into the sky. (Cause of accident: wrong departure point)

(2) In 2015, Elf 3 took off near a high-voltage high-voltage pressure station and immediately lost control and fell less than 5 meters into the sky. (Cause of accident: wrong departure point)

 (3) In 2016, flying hands flying for less than half an hour flew outside into the interior wall. (Cause of accident: lack of basic operation, blind confidence)

 (4) In 2016, Elf 3 took off in a dense complex of tall buildings and immediately lost control of the fall less than 5 meters into the sky. (Cause of accident: wrong departure point)

 (6) In 2016, Elf 3 swept through the jungle shooting reservoir, lost its signal beyond the visual range and crashed into a tree. (Cause of accident: Error over-the-horizon flight at departure location)

 (7) In 2017, Elf 4 P in a back flight, flying hands focused on the surveillance map, the drone hit the billboard behind it. (Cause of accident: blind backward flight without observing terrain and obstacles)

 (8) In 2017, Elf 3 returned to the river with less electricity. (Cause of accident: greedy shooting, illegal operation, still do not return when the electricity is insufficient)

 (9) In 2017, Elf 4 P managed to return to the air on and off during the flight. (Cause of the accident: a fake version of the data link was used and replaced unharmed)

(10) In 2018, Elf 4 P in a back flight, flying hands focused on the surveillance map, the drone crashed into the woods behind. (Cause of accident: blind backward flight without observing terrain and obstacles)

 (11) In 2018, Elf 4 P crashed into a tall building while shooting a city building. (Cause of accident: no prior observation of terrain and obstacles)

 (12) In 2019, Elf 4 P flew sideways on the way to the shooting reservoir and crashed into the small island woods of the reservoir. (Cause of accident: no prior observation of terrain and obstacles)

 (13) In 2019, Elf 4 P distracted from talking while on its way back, and the drone crashed into a tree nearby. (Cause of the accident: flying hand not concentrate, one mind two)

 (14) In 2019, Wu 2 crashed into a branch and hung from a tree while flying back at a height of 13 metres to photograph a city building. Fortunately, he was safe and sound. (Cause of accident: no prior observation of terrain and obstacles)

 (15) In 2020, Yu2 backed off while filming the road and crashed into a tree branch. (Cause of accident: no prior observation of terrain and obstacles)

 (16) In 2020, Royal 2 in the shooting of urban buildings, indicating that when the power is insufficient to fly, the return of the droneforced landing, repair. (Cause of accident: greedy shooting, illegal operation)

 (17) In 2020, Royal 2 used posture mode to fly sideways while shooting rural buildings, hitting flagpole and damaging rework. (Cause of accident: after turning off the obstacle avoidance function, the terrain and obstacles are not observed in advance)

 (18) In February 2021, another Wu 2 returned without calling the police and was forced to land. It took two days to find the precious enlightenment 2.

 (19) On 13 February 2021, the most dangerous aircraft took off Wu 2 on a sloping land, ready to fly over the empty canyon in front of it, then skimmed across the opposite forest to photograph the city. Check and find the propeller broken. For more than two years to buy Wu 2 the first time to replace the new blade, take off again. The drone stumbled open the branches and grass in front of it and flew into the air opposite, and found that the rocker on the remote control did not listen to my control at all. The first thought was that since the drone did not listen to the order, it had to find a way to make the drone return safely. Calm down and think of a way to check that the return height is set to 120 meters and use the automatic return command. The drone finally returned safely to its hands, but still puzzled. Call Dajiang customer service contact, upload flight data to Dajiang. The next day, after data analysis, Dajiang called me back, saying that the rocker mode I originally set in the remote control was an American hand and was changed to a Chinese hand. I just suddenly realized that a few days ago, one of my flying friends borrowed my Wu 2 to use, I remember before he inadvertently said that he was different, using the Chinese hand model. I went to check the remote control and was really set to Chinese hand mode. The harm is not shallow! Fortunately, it didn't hurt    

I. Check before power is activated

 Check carefully the environment, droneand remote control of the departure site, including:

 (i) The environment at the place of departure

 1. can not take off on high-strength reinforced concrete structures such as tall buildings and bridges;

 2. can not take off near the magnetic field with large electromagnetic interference such as power station, substation and high voltage line;

 3. can not take off under the forest, prevent remote control rocker failure when the dronecan automatically safely land;

 4. find a quiet corner, to prevent people break in, feel strange onlookers constantly consult flying hands this is what can fly how high and where to buy how much money and so on;

 5. the choice of takeoff location is very critical, easy to fly out, difficult to fly back, must be cautious.

 (ii) Check all hardware of droneand remote control

 1. UAV

 (1) Whether the batteries of the droneare abundant;

 (2) Whether the data connection line of the remote control is original or not, whether loose or loose occurs;

 (3) whether the dronepropeller is installed in place and tightened;

 (4) whether the lock of the cloud head is removed;

 (5) Whether the lens cover is removed;

 Whether the SD or SSD card is in place.

 2. remote control

 (1) adequacy of power;

 (2) whether the antenna is removed and installed correctly;

 Whether the flight mode is P or A;

 (4) Whether the rocker is loose or loose

 3. monitor

 Whether the electricity is abundant, whether in flight (must not be in the network state).

 4. observation of flight environment

 Observe the surrounding environment with the naked eye, if it is better to match the telescope, it is best to have an observer hand to assist.

 5. clear subject

 It must be clear what the purpose of your aerial photograph is and what it is to express. For those of us who are engaged in photography, the definition of droneis a flying camera, droneliftoff is not for flight, the purpose is aerial photography, we must take the pictures and video materials we need under the premise of safe flight.

 6. planning and shooting

 Rise, fall, shake? Or advance and retreat, surround, follow? Plan ahead, these problems must be prepared before take-off, can not wait until the lift-off to follow the feeling.

 II. Check after power is activated

 1. UAV

 Whether can automatically correct the cloud head, whether there is propeller shedding phenomenon, whether the motor sound is normal, whether the battery needs to be upgraded.

2. remote control

 Carefully check the various parameter settings on the APP, all options must be checked one by one.

 (1) Whether the software needs to be upgraded;

 (2) whether warning icons appear, such as battery differential pressure, compass, cloud head, IMU, etc;

 (3) Is the remote control rocker mode a common American hand, or a Chinese hand or a Japanese hand taken by someone;

 (4) Whether the obstacle avoidance function is turned on;

 (5) What is the maximum set of flight altitude, how to set the automatic return altitude and how much to set the automatic return altitude;

 (6) What is the JPG or RAW, size of the photo format, whether the color is normal or LOG, whether the color temperature is manual or automatic, if the delay interval is a few seconds. (I ask my team members that color temperature settings must not be in automatic mode)Video format setting MOV or MP4, size is 4 K or 1080 frame rate, color is normal or LOG, code is 264 or 265, color temperature is manual or automatic (I asked my team members, color temperature setting must not use automatic mode).

 Whether the SD and SSD cards have been formatted.

 III. Post-take-off inspections

 1. take-off in situ to about 10 meters high, hovering, before and after all angles to test the remote control rocker is normal, if found abnormal immediately calm, decisive response, take measures to safely land.

 2. from the air observation, found that the ground can not see the landscape, reconfirm the subject, content, scene and mirror manipulation.

 IV. Matters needing attention in aerial photography

 1. try to fly within visual distance and find that the beauty can be changed to another safe place to take off.

 2. the use of surround, side fly, transverse and backward four means of transport mirror must be careful, two must be done in advance, that is, must be clear side and behind which obstacles, flight height must be higher than obstacles, must open obstacle avoidance settings. Novice try to avoid the use of backward aerial photography.

 3. all the mirror must have a rise, fall, do not press the recording key, follow the feeling.

 The 4. uses the smooth light, the side reverse light photography, may not in the hot sun namely the big light ratio condition is shooting to the sunlight, because CMOS harm to the camera is big.

 5. aerial photography must be single-minded operation, avoid distraction, talk with others, or smoking, eating, two-minded.

 If you remember and do what I said, your chances of blowing up a machine will be much lower.

 Correct a concept that you are not a flying hand, you are an aerial photographer. What you need to do is safe flight aerial photography, not cool flight control skills on how you cross obstacles.
